We’ve been getting a lot of similar questions and we know it’s hard for you lovely followers to not know where to look for answers and it isn’t your fault when you ask us something that someone has recently asked about! It’s a big tumblog with a lot of pages and we are doing everything we can to organize it better for you - so, for starters, we wanted to create this FAQ for you. We can add onto it at any point if we get more frequently asked questions, but for now we’ll answer the questions we’ve been getting about more personal things! Where do we get our screencaps?: We often make our own but we use websites like Screencap Paradise and Angelbacchae for them as well.

What program do we use to screencap with?: Both Mel and Livv use VLC player to screencap for GIFs and Graphics.

What program do we use to GIF with?: Livv uses Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Mel uses Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. You can download a free 30 day trial at their website at the bottom of the home page.

How do we GIF?: We use VLC for capping and Photoshop for putting it all together. Depending on the program you use, or the year/model of Photoshop, there are different ways to GIF. Youtube and Google both have wonderful tutorials for learning how to GIF. We’ll give you a few - 1, 2, 3, & 4.

Is the Charmed Manor a real location?: Yes! You can visit the house in Echo Park, LA at any time. They are no longer giving private tours and the inside is dramatically different than what you see on the show since they created a set for the show. But the house stands perfectly for you to visit at any time. Here’s the address:

Do we accept submissions and requests?: Yes! Our submission box is always open. Even if we don’t post what you submit, we are very interested in seeing what you do and we always answer you back with tips or just a thank you! Our ask box is always open (unless we have so many in there and need to catch up, then we’ll close it for a day or two) so we are always accepting requests. Once in a while we get so far behind that we may forget so reminders are always welcome, just remember we have a lot of things going on and so many things in our ask box so please be patient with us!

What about the comic books?: The comics are a lot of fun to delve into with a very open mind. If you aren’t all that accepting of a bit of change and a point of view from a different creator then it might not be your cup of tea, however if you are the kind of fan that just wants a continuation of the series in any form, this might be your place to go. We enjoy the comic books for what they’re worth - the art is fantastic and the storylines are pretty decent. Give the first one a try and you’ll know right away if you’ll like it or not. What about our watermark?: Here is more information about our watermark! We frown upon stealing of any kind. We never used to use a watermark and hate the idea of a text watermark with our tumblr name - it’s too long and too messy in our opinion. So we created the triquetra. This way if our GIFs get stolen, we’ll know it’s ours and so will our followers.

Are we looking for more co-runners?: At the moment, we are not. We are the best of friends (like sisters) and we opened this blog and our One Tree Hill blog with no expectation of anything coming from it - maybe a few loyal followers - but it has become more than we ever thought possible. We are so grateful to all of you and we thank you for being so interested in helping us, it means the world to us, but this is our baby and we are very happy with how we run things and how things operate. It is nothing against any of you at all, and we really do appreciate you asking. Thanks for understanding! Remember that we do accept submissions and we want you all to be a part of this in any way possible. We are, however, very comfortable with being the only two mods.
